JCU Reason Week 2013

The JCU Humanists are pleased to announce JCU Reason Week 2013! We are excited to bring you three nights of free events during the first week of September to promote reason, free inquiry and inter-faith dialogue on campus.

The events are as follows:

Wednesday 4th September
Public Lecture
“An Introduction to Secular Humanism”
with Michael Crozier (Townsville Humanists) and Joel Tann (JCU Humanists)

Thursday 5th September
“Has Religion Become Redundant?
Tim Saunders
(JCU Humanists) v. Tim Earnshaw (JCU Christian Union)

Friday 6th September
Inter-faith Panel Discussion
“Secularism and the Future of Religion
with representatives from local religious and cultural groups

All events commence at

7:00 PM

and will be held in the

Sir George Kneipp Auditorium (Building 26), James Cook University
